Which image files can I crop?
You can crop JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, and HEIF files. GIF is not supported.
Is there a file or image size limit?
The input file must be 50 MiB or smaller. The decoded image can be up to 40 megapixels, with no side longer than 16,384 pixels.
Does cropping resize my image?
No. The selected area is saved at its chosen pixel dimensions without resizing.
What happens to transparency?
PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG is re-encoded at quality 0.92, cannot store transparency, and fills transparent areas with white.
Do I need an account?
No. Cropping is free with no sign-up or account needed, and the entire process runs in your browser.
